Park Overview

The Leese family of Westville have created a haven for the disabled and seniors. A special place for a special segment of society to enjoy, nestled in over 300 acres of lush forest. Upon entering the expansive park grounds one immediately experiences a sense of serenity and calm. This recreational/wilderness park has much to offer besides nature at it's best, fishing, tenting, Bocce Courts and plenty of picnic tables, gazebos and seating to enjoy a barbeque or a picnic for any size group.

Everyone is welcome to use the park, however fishing is only reserved as a specialty for Seniors & Disabled.

Park History

Creating this wilderness Eden has been a labor of love for Dave Leese. He and his family began the Park's development back in 1986. In the beginning it was a family venture aimed at providing a place for seniors to enjoy nature along with some fishing in a setting that provided easy access. It was a fantastic idea and it's popularity prompted Dave to expand his guest list to include the disabled. What an opportunity to fish and enjoy everything the wilderness has to offer in a safe setting, no wonder this beautiful park has become so popular!
